2008 Ronald McDonald House Holiday Cruise Benefit Auction
Location:  Overlake Golf and Country Club in Medina

Welcome!  We hope you will be able to attend this year’s auction and help support the children & families residing at Ronald McDonald House Seattle. Our goal is to raise enough money to enable us to provide holiday outings and events throughout the year for families whose children are facing life-threatening illnesses.  RMHHC has been taking medically fragile children on a Holiday Cruise each December for over 20 years. When RMH Seattle expanded from 22 to 80 families a few years ago we began funding our events with an annual auction.

Our largest event is in December when it is even more difficult to be miles away from family and friends, when cash flow is dangerously low, and parents want so desperately for their children to have a sense of normalcy back.  Your generous donation and participation in our fund raising auction help us to be the holiday shoppers, purchasers, wrappers and delivery persons.

Whether the families celebrate Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza, winter, or nothing at all, we offer them the opportunity to leave the hospital setting, experience a relaxing and elegant dinner aboard the Royal Argosy as a family, and then have wrapped gifts from their personal wish lists waiting for them in their rooms when they return “home.”  We spend every December 24th with the children, families, and staff at RMH Seattle, and our lives are richer and fuller because of it.

Please participate with us by attending the auction, donating auction items, or making an one-time financial contribution.   We believe your attendance and/or donation will also benefit your business as you play an important leadership role in building a culture of unity within our community.

Becoming a Table Sponsor or Table Captain is easy and fun!

  • Table Sponor pay for the entire table of 10 seats ($800) and Table Captain get their family/friends to register for a table of 10 seats
  • Invite 9 colleagues, family,  or friends to join you as guests
  • Be recognized in the Auction Catalog
  • First ten table sponsors and table captains registered will receive a magnum of Alexandria Nicole '03 Merlot as their special gift

  • Event Details: 
    • Bidding starts at 5pm with Hors d’oeuvres and wine served, be there for the EARLY BIRD RAFFLE (first 50 participants to arrive will have be enter into a free drawing for a prize!)
    • Silent Auction, Golden Ticket, Auction Flip Event, Live Auction, and Dessert Dash.
